Founded in 1995, the MacKinnon Organization is a Nonprofit Self-Funded and
Sponsor Funded Operation which looks to conduct Historically Investigative Research
for the Greater Good.
The MacKinnon Organization's Mission is to:
- Conduct historical research with emphasis on where unique contributions
can be made including, but not limited to, the World War Two American submarine
service, MacKinnon Scottish Clan History, Computational Grids, and Japanese
Historical Archives.
- Assist and providing information to families whom lost members during the
Second World War submarine service.
- Freely distribute as much information as possible.
- Since inception, the MacKinnon Organization has freely contributed to the
publication of books and television documentaries.
The MacKinnon Organization Joint Ventured with The National Underwater and
Marine Agency Australia to Head an Independent, Non-Political and Non-Sectarian
Search Project to attempt to locate the Actual Final Resting-Place of the USS
WAHOO and her Compliment of 80 Officers and Crew.
